Tramezzini tuna-egg and pumpkin seed puree

Tramezzini tuna-egg and pumpkin seed puree

I continue my series "recipes for toothache" with a sandwich recipe easy to chew and dairy ;-)

The tramezzino is an Italian sandwich made of soft bread. I smeared the mashed pumpkin seed bread, a delight I find in my organic supermarket (you can substitute almond puree or hazelnut) and I topped with a mixture of tuna egg and cucumber. Delicious!

Tramezzini tuna-egg and pumpkin seed puree

For 8 triangles:

  • 2 hard boiled eggs
  • 1 large oil tuna
  • the oilseed mash
  • very thin slices of cucumber
  • 4 large slices of special tramezzini bread (mine only contains white flour, oil, yeast, sugar and salt)
  •  or 8 slices of bread without the crust

Mash the eggs and mix them with tuna. Spread mashed bread slices of pumpkin seed. Spread-egg mixture and cucumber tuna on a wafer, covering the other wafer and cut into triangles.

Tramezzini tuna-egg and pumpkin seed puree

For those like me who have kidnapped a wisdom tooth, you can also remove the cucumber. Unless chewing spared side ;-) The advantage is that the bread here is very soft ...

The original architecture has given its name to the villa you learn today: Diamon House (House Diamond). It is located in Singapore and was conducted by Formwerkz Architects.

This singular work on shapes and spaces gives a closing speech on the outside while the interior favors her windows to let in light. A health project of modern monolith!

Beautiful renovation of a stone house

Beautiful renovation of a stone house

We bought the Gressac Domain in early 2010 after 4 years of intensive research in the south of France. We are a couple with dual nationality French-Swiss with two children who live in Geneva and dreamed of a country life for us and our children. We wanted a large property without nuisance, isolated, hilly, with many buildings to renovate, land, wood, vine, water, in short we had to visit a lot of goods to finally find Gressac that was exactly our wishes.

The Domain Gressac was converted to organic farming in 1970 by Lucien Bondurand pioneer of Agriculture responsible and respect the environment. The story of the men who built this area charmed us and that's why we decided to keep the wine business with respect for their work. Regarding the development of charming cottages, we tried to respect two guiding rules: build and renovate with quality materials, with a view to sustainable development and work with local artisans. Thus, the stone walls rebuilt all come from ancient ruins of the property. All roofs have been redone and isolated. Some have received solar panels for hot water side of the photovoltaic panels for electricity. We also recycled beams of the old structures in the decoration of some parts.

Some of the materials have been unearthed in the recovery specialist. For example, soils of most rooms are made of old planks of solid pine in the region that have passed the first part of their lives in cheesemakers of Haute Savoie, to return to finish their life in their region of origin . Their irregularity enhances the feeling of authenticity. The bathrooms are dressed with a mixture of cement tiles old restored (then or factories were still in France) and new tile cements. Kitchens, signed Laurent Passe, are dressed in old wood, zinc and stone. It is the work of a master workman both stonemason, carpenter and avid antique materials. Of course, they have all the comforts of the 21st century. The appliances furniture, when with him, was chosen in solid wood, mix of old and new. The choice of bed fell on "Swissflex" to their reputation for comfort and durability, while all lingerie comes from Linsvoges (linen, cotton sponges, etc ..).   Reto and Laurence.

The attic: change the frame

If you have enough space in your attic (See previous note on the roof), we must now develop it. Sometimes the farms of the framework can hinder you. Two options are available:

Or you're full of imagination to "make do" that is possible;
Or you Change the frame.

Of course, this work requires the use a carpenter, a design office and a recess architect. This change implies more expensive because of heavy work, but solutions exist and the game is worth it considering the price of the m².

The attic: change the frame

Practical case : In the region, at a client, we proposed that some particular option. at a mezzanine, the tie beams (horizontal beams) were placed only 1.80 m above the floor. Everyone bowed his head, even the little people, afraid to take a beam in the corner of the eye. We could just go up the few tens of centimeters. But we preferred not back one side on two alternate for this purpose boat hull.

A design museum in a former bank (Lisbon)

A design museum in a former bank (Lisbon)

Lisbon nicknamed the white city vibrates with great energy and modernity of its architecture is needed everywhere, however reigns a perfume of another era that could evoke the 50s Beyond the beauty of its churches which conceal treasures (do not miss the baroque church of Saint Roch), museums (the National museum of Tile, the museum of Ancient Art, the museum house of Fado ...), monuments (Castle St. -Georges for the view ...), the majestic Commerce square, the city of seven hills exudes a lifestyle that is increasingly unusual to feel the way ... and yet, me dog-trot, I myself know!

My favorite ? An unusual museum housed in a former bank and opened in 2009 on 12 000m2: the Mude dedicated to fashion and design. You will have a panorama of the biggest names of the 50's with Charlotte Perriand to the creators of the 80 Rest assured, I have not done breakage, only the visit of the vault!

Artichoke my heart with love

Artichoke my heart with love

This is the time of artichokes and I assure you, my heart loves hard. With a beautiful and good Vinaigrette any love. There are so many ways to make this beautiful green tenderness that all ideas are good ... for me, it's simple, easy and it only takes the time to do them in the casserole. Not too long either, otherwise it's too tender heart and does not crack ..sous the tooth.

And, of course, artichokes depending on the number of guests, we cooked 15 min "lap top" to the pressure cooker from the first steam outlet.

What I find excellent, it is a dish where it is more on the plate than at the beginning ..

Artichoke my heart with love

For the dressing:

A little oil

shallots

Balsamic vinegar

A little mustard

Some parsley

Salt pepper.

My little roi Arthur

My little roi Arthur My little roi Arthur. There are phrases that are like a little spark in his mind and remain. I just heard one and it was through her that I wanted to write this note to you good news.
* There is a legend that the child in the womb knows all the mystery of creation, the origin of the world until the end of time. At birth, a messenger passes over his cradle and puts a finger to his lips that he never reveals the secret that was entrusted to him, the secret of life. This finger asked that erases forever the child's memory leaves a mark. This brand, we all have above the upper lip.
I'm not much came on blogs since the summer holidays and sorry. Taken by the time largely, I have not always been able to respond. The year 2009 is ending soon. I'm not bored, and with it the beautiful events in my life. Remember my 50 years, the summer holidays, the my son's wedding. The change in my work early in the year and new organization on some weekends. Very proud: there were in November the thesis of my son cum laude. Mare numerous outlets in the region and Burgundy I enjoy. And the most wonderful, the birth of my little son December 3. I did not say anything before because I had not seen (yes because of the flu, banning him at the hospital), and I wanted to share with you this emotion. This is done by Sunday. What's more, I enjoy dearly. Yes, my little Arthur had his finger on his lips the secret of life. He would never tell me her story before born, but I shall know that happens, the most beautiful for me her nonna. My little roi Arthur

exclusive use of a terrace: who should pay for it?

"Having the exclusive use of a terrace of the condo, I did ask a floor after agreement of the other owners. But the General Assembly decided to renovate the tightness of this terrace. Who will pay the
disassembly and reassembly of this floor involved in this work? "
M. Honneth, Riquewihr (68)

In principle, it is for you to bear the costs of removal and installation of facilities that you made. Indeed, only the elements defined by the building regulations are taken into account by the community. This is the case of the sealing work themselves. If your floor is not designated by the regulation, it can not be considered as included in the common areas and dismantling remains your responsibility. The fact that you have obtained the agreement of the meeting to ask for changes nothing. The Court of Cassation has confirmed that the private accommodations made on a terrace which the owner has an exclusive enjoyment must be removed at the expense of the owner during sealing work
(Supreme Court, 3rd Civil Chamber, 30 April 2002, No. 00-15880).

Tell me where you live, I will tell you who you are

ampm.jpg

 Photo AM.PM.

At this time of winter break, tuck home or hibernation for some, I ask myself questions about the house. Over dilemmas or desires Deco, who are part of my daily life, I got back in line "existential questions about the house". On my home sweet home and yours. On the place that serves as our refuge, our roof, our peeps, our little nest, the one we left each morning to better navigate the evening.
To be honest, it's Jerome (Who himself had the idea of Bénédicte and of Private visit : The thread of ideas that will not control ...) that triggered this whole series of questions by launching a Deco cast on his blog. It offers people to send a photo of themselves and a photo of their home. "A kind of instant your home and what it says about you," he tells us ...

rooms.jpgThis is where I say, basically, my inner is it that I am? Of course it all depends on where you live, if one is owner or not, if the decor is to our liking and everything. But let's go with the physical constraints of the thing.
Do as the Masters and their dog, my house and I will look like? I think the blow to the show on MTV, Room Raiders , where a candidate has to choose his or her suitor (e) after inspecting (combing) her room. I wonder ... My lover would he choose me? Seeing my room, would he guess my character and would he made a small idea who I am?

Pamela.jpgConversely, I remember - the first in that it never happened throws the first stone - you take a step back, opening the door to some rooms or apartment. And future ex boyfriends. Pamela posters or other half-naked woman on the wall, the smell of stale fags or rolled, collections of statuettes and other souvenirs too kitsch holiday in the sun ...

I also remember what when Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the city, discovers the apartment 'Jack Berger. With a big smile dimpled, she admits to being relieved him to find a place in any stylish taste and just the right ...

sex.jpgThe moral in all this: one really knows anyone having seen: 1. friends (but that's another topic!) And 2. his apartment or his room!

Besides watching my small (very small) home in Paris and of our home in South, I feel that in both cases, it's a bit of me. Seeing these pictures is already know a little more about me ...

And to push a little reflection (yes we do a lot work brains today ...) our apartment 'in the South it is ideal for our relationship? The issue did not come alone, do not worry. Via a test Cotemaison.fr, I say that in reality, some houses or apartment 'large and warm, call cocooning two, while others, narrow and maize designed, calling for boxing.

The reality is that our home sweet home to follow us every day. And be arranged accordingly ... Because beyond the question "Tell me where you live, I will tell you who you are," the more my home looks like me better I feel good inside. Ditto for the roof that houses a couple, everyone digs his place, defines its territory and accept the habits of the other. All this to finally feel at home, like a fish in water!

So and you, tell me where you live? How do you feel at home? If it looks like you or not ...
