10 ideas to forget for the decoration of toilets

Like it or not, the toilet is a must for us and for our guests. If you do not want to spend too much time to decorate your bathroom, but you want it to create a relaxing ambience, here are the 10 mistakes to avoid!

1. Place a mirror opposite the toilet

Let's be honest, who really want to look on the toilet? Neither you nor your guests. The mirror should absolutely not be installed in front or back room.

2. Choose a pan that slides

Difficult to find a more unbearable loose bowl. Restrooms are like be comfortably. We are not here to have fun!  

Council Deco: If you need to change your bowl, originality aside, it is best not to push too much. Color yes, but united.

3. Place a rug underfoot toilet

Sure, it's nice to have warm feet but it should still not grow. On, rugs and carpeting are more hygienic in the toilet. Two, it is a bit outdated (if not totally has-been).

4. Hang pictures of friends and family in the toilet

On the other, if it does not appear on such pictures, one is quickly offended. The simplest: banish WC.

5. A too strong or subdued lighting in small corners

The toilet is a small cocoon where it is necessary to go at any time of day or night. It is very unpleasant to feel assaulted by a too strong lighting. Conversely, too dim light can be given a somewhat gloomy side in this mini room. 

Council Deco:The classic sometimes good, why not just go for a soft white light ? If you are looking for originality anyway, know that colored bulb is risky. A colorful shade will give a slight tint to the light can be a great idea. 

6. The toilet closets

8. The tacky decor in the WC

Size often reduced, toilets must not to be overloaded. Nothing worse than to feel oppressed. More by trinkets collected without their decorative side is controlled.  

Council Deco: A light decoration is preferred. If you really love originality, careful not too spoiling.

9. A roller door broken, poorly rinsed brooms ...

essential elements in the toilet, it is important not to neglect them. If they are damaged or overwhelmed, do not waste time, change them.  

Council Deco: Whatever your taste, follow them. The toilet is a small room, let them pierce your personality. Simple, colorful ... The important thing here is the good condition of the utensil and quality.

10. Do not finalize anything in the toilet decor

The toilets are not not a store. full room, the toilet deserve pampered. Do not stop your halfway facilities. Nothing is more depressing than unfinished paintings or improperly installed shelves. 

Council Deco: Do not overestimate. It is important to know your limits DIY side. If your skills are limited, nothing serious. Go on easily workable ideas, they will be no less pretty.
