This is my Halloween dessert recipe this year: a creamy cheesecake pumpkin flavored with vanilla and cinnamon, with a crust and a decor digestive biscuit Dark chocolate and orange:

I had thought to do with Oreos® but I thought that would be fine with orange pumpkin and it would give a small side Thanksgiving cheesecake ... I'm not mistaken: the black-orange pumpkin-chocolate wedding is a marvel!

For the recipe I was inspired by that of "Chocolate pumpkin cheesecake bars" Martha Stewart, as usual except that I changed a lot of things: no chocolate but more cookies (! which avoids starting a packet and let it linger for months), more than philadelphia ...

In the end we really delights with this original ultra cake and frankly not complicated to perform :-)

You will have to square pan 20cm:

For the crust:

  • 140g digestive biscuit with dark chocolate and orange
  • 20g of margarine

For the cream:

  • 600g of philadelphia
  • 200g of brown cane sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • Pumpkin flesh 250g
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cinnamon cc

For decoration:

  • 160g of crushed biscuits same

Preheat oven to 180 ° C.

140g Mix the biscuits with margarine. Darken the mold with two sheets of greaseproof paper superimposed exceeding well on the sides, in order to raise the cheesecake once cooled. Darken the mold with cookies, press down well and bake for 10 minutes. Book.

Beat philadelphia with sugar, add eggs one at a time, flour, vanilla and cinnamon.

Cook the pumpkin in the microwave with a tablespoon of water for 5 minutes at maximum power, or until it is tender. Drain it, then blend the flesh and add to cheese mixture. The mixture is runny, it's normal.

Pour the cream on the biscuit base and bake for 50 minutes. After 20 minutes, decorate the cheesecake already a bit taken with the crushed biscuits (I did at that time and not before cooking to prevent cookies from sinking into the cream).

Allow the cheesecake to cool completely before the chill. Cut into square or rectangular slices:

I made 6 share, but you may very well cut into 8 or 12 ... depending on your appetite ;-)

For once a cheesecake really easy to cut!
